Tree height and spacing
Row width, canopy density, plant age and obstructions help determine application feasibility.
AGRICULTURE / TREE CROP APPLICATIONS
Citrus groves, orchards and vineyards have different canopy shapes, spacing and spray requirements than broadacre fields. Drone applications can be assessed for compatible tree-crop treatments, with a plan tailored to the block.

PROJECT CONSIDERATIONS
Coverage, plant height, row geometry and the pesticide label affect whether a drone is suitable. We never assume aerial spraying is the right answer for every orchard.
Row width, canopy density, plant age and obstructions help determine application feasibility.
Identify the crop, block, pest or nutrient goal and any prescribed product before reviewing methods.
Operators assess airflow, spray reach, target coverage, weather and adjacent sensitive areas.
HOW WE COORDINATE REQUESTS
Agricultural services are quoted only after the project and prospective operator have been reviewed. Dates and materials are never assumed.
Share acreage, crop, tree height, row spacing and location.
Check crop-specific product instructions, operator authorization and coverage requirements.
Confirm method, safety areas, schedule and written quote.
OPERATOR & PRODUCT REVIEW
Aerial application in the U.S. is regulated. FAA Part 137 and applicable exemptions or approvals apply to dispensing agricultural products. Pesticide work may require state aerial applicator credentials, aircraft registration and specific insurance or bonding requirements.
Product labels, drift restrictions, crop suitability, weather and airspace must be checked by the responsible authorized operator before work is accepted.
FAA agricultural drone rules ↗Florida aerial applicator licensing ↗COMMON QUESTIONS
Each field and treatment is different. Start with the crop and intended result, then the proposed method can be reviewed.
Some operators use agricultural drones for tree crops, but suitability depends on the intended treatment, equipment, canopy and product label. Florida aerial application rules also apply.
Not necessarily. Canopy penetration and deposition depend on equipment, treatment volume and tree structure. An operator must assess whether an effective application is achievable.
Yes, send the acreage and location for each block along with the crop, spacing and treatment goals. Availability must be confirmed.
START WITH YOUR FIELD
Location, acreage, crop and treatment goal are enough to start a suitability review. We’ll confirm available qualified operators before offering a service date.
